Hello gorgeous and thanks for visiting! My name is Becky Group. I am the Owner of Simply Styled {formerly Fit For A Princess}. In November of 2010, I completely stumbled into the small business world. What started as a fundraiser selling handmade tutus, bows, and children's clothing, quickly evolved into a fun little side hustle. I spent the next 8 years, working full time as a pediatric nurse and ran S|S on the side for fun.

In 2018, I realized how much I loved getting to give back through my business. I began adding boutique items to the handmade goods I carried and everything seemed to take off from there. By the end of the year, I rebranded to Simply Styled and shifted our primary focus to womens wear.

As the business grew, it also became apparent that I was going to have to make some hard choices to develop a work life balance. In 2019, I turned my basement into an area where friends and family could shop. By November of 2019, I dropped to part-time as a nurse and opened my first storefront! By July of 2020, I left the corporate world to dedicate my time fully to the business I had grown to love so much.

In April of 2021, I purchased a building in Cedar Creek, Nebraska. This particular building was known for its pirate ship bar and might be remembered as Annas, Marias or Cedar Creek Steakhouse to many of the locals. After 3 months of blood, sweat and literal tears, we were able to give the abandoned space a much needed face life and new life. In August of 2021, we opened the doors to Nebraska's first "Boat-ique" + Bar. We offered a full menu of beer, wine, and cocktails to enjoy while shopping.

Two short months later, our lives were turned upside down when our son, Auggie, was born at rest in my third trimester. I found my passion for the boutique + bar quickly subsided. I was struggling to balance grief, life and what our future held. In May of 2022, we listed the building for sale and closed on the property in October. Two weeks before closing, we welcomed our precious baby girl, Letty, into the world.

The end of 2022 was spent loving on our girl and transitioning Simply Styled back to an online only boutique. It has truly been the biggest blessing and exactly what my heart needed most. While I miss seeing so many of your smiling faces in store, nothing will ever compare to getting to spend my days at home with our baby girl.

My mission for the boutique has always been to make an income while making an impact. Truth be told, we are SO much more than just clothes. Dealing with recurrent pregnancy loss myself over the past few years has really shifted our focus to raising awareness and support for other families walking this path. We provide comfort boxes free of charge to any family who experiences a loss after 20 weeks and frequently donate a portion of our sales to organizations and individuals impacted by loss. Nominate someone/learn more about our comfort boxes here. If you feel compelled to help, we do have an Amazon Wishlist and always greatly appreciate the support.

I am forever thankful for your unwavering support, the friends I have met along the way, and our ever growing S|S community. Without you, I wouldn't get to be living my dream. And for that, I cannot thank you enough. -XoXo, Becky
